Timothy Verdon
Art Historian Timothy Verdon directs the Diocesan Office of Sacred Art and Church Cultural Heritage in Florence, and the Cathedral Foundation Museum (Museo dell’Opera di Santa Maria del Fiore). The author of many books and articles, he has been a Consultant to the Vatican Commission for Church Cultural Heritage, a Fellow of the Harvard University Center for Italian Renaissance Studies, and currently teaches in the Florence Program of Stanford University. Jérôme Cottin
Jérôme Cottin is Professor of Practical Theology at the Faculty for Protestant Theology at the University of Strasbourg, France. He also teaches at the Higher Institute of Theology Arts Theologicum of the Catholic Institute of Paris. William Dyrness
William Dyrness is a professor of theology and culture at Fuller Theological Seminary in California. He teaches courses on theology, culture, and the arts, and was a founding member of the Brehm Center for Worship, Theology, and the Arts. He has published many books, and served on the national boards of Christians in the Visual Arts, and Development Associates International. He has over 30 years of teaching experience in the United States, the Philippines, Kenya, and South Korea, and is an ordained Presbyterian minister.
Ben Quash
Ben Quash grew up in County Durham and Monmouthshire, UK. He read English as an undergraduate at Cambridge, and then (as a second degree, whilst in training for ordination at Westcott House) theology. Doctoral work on the theological dramatic theory of Hans Urs von Balthasar combined these literary and theological interests. He was Chaplain and Fellow of Fitzwilliam College, Cambridge, and a lecturer in the Cambridge Theological Federation from 1996-1999, then returned to Peterhouse as Dean and Fellow until he came to King’s as Professor of Christianity and the Arts in 2007. From 2004-2007 Ben Quash was also Academic Convenor of the Cambridge Inter-Faith Programme in the University of Cambridge’s Faculty of Divinity, developing research and public education programs in Judaism, Christianity and Islam and their interrelations – and indulging a delight in Scriptural Reasoning.

Denis Villepelet is the Director of Continuing Education at the Faculty of Theology and Religious Sciences and Director of the Higher Institute of Theology of the Arts at the Catholic Institute of Paris.

Denis Hétier is a Lecturer at the Higher Institute of Theology of the Arts at the Catholic Institute of Paris, and is an artist, sculptor, and priest of the diocese of Créteil.
Gianni Cioli
Gianni Cioli teaches moral theology and iconography at the Theological Faculty of Central Italy and the Higher Institute of Religious Sciences “Beato Ippolito Galantini.” He was director of Vivens homo: a journal of theology and religious sciences, and is a priest of the diocese of Florence.
Severino Dianich
Severino Dianich, a graduate of the Pontifical Gregorian University, was professor of ecclesiology and Christianity at the Faculty of Theology of Florence, where he directed a Masters program in Theology of Architecture of Churches. He has published several books on the relationship between artistic expression and theological reflection. He is Episcopal Vicar for Pastoral Care of Culture and Spiritual Director at the Seminary for the Archdiocese of Pisa.
